Denis Shapovalov became the artistic director of "Cello Parade" project
Denis Shapovalov was invited by Olga Rostropovich to become the artistic director of an unique project "Cello Parade". This exclusive event will be held at the Tchaikovsky Hall of the Moscow Philharmony during the Third Mstislav Rostropovich International Festival.
The concert will feature the best cellists of different generations representing the school of Mstislav Rostropovich: David Geringas (Germany), Ivan Monighetti (Switzerland), Alexander Knyazev, Kirill Rodin, Denis Shapovalov, Boris Andrianov, Alexander Buzlov, Eugene Rumyantsev as well as the leading cellists of the Russian orchestras such as Russian National Orchestra, Svetlanov's State Symphony Orchestra, Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, "New Russia" Symphony Orchestra, "Moscow Virtuosi", Moscow Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra.

Denis Shapovalov participates in the charity event "Let's save children together!" organized by the Charity Foundation "Life line" (www.life-line.ru). Together with several other famous persons of the Russian stage Denis was cooking pancakes at the Moscow restaurant "Olivetta". All the the money from the sale of pancakes were trasferred to the operations and medical treatment of the children with serious deseases.
